In partnership with both The Architectural Review and the Architects’ Journal , the W Programme is a membership network that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusivity in the built environment through a series of social events, mentoring sessions, inspiring lectures and a celebration of best practice.

The aim of the W Programme is to create better and healthier working environments for everyone in architecture and related industries, moving away from patriarchal power structures to foster a culture of respect and equal opportunities.

The W Programme 2025 has now come to an end.

Gender inequalities do not exist in isolation; they intersect and overlap with other causes of disadvantage and discrimination. Previously known as Women in Architecture, the W Programme promotes diversity, inclusion and care in practice through a yearly series of inspiring lectures, mentoring sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, networking and social events designed for its members, the W Partners.

The W Programme membership period ran from January to December 2025, with activities taking place both in the UK and online. View the full 2025 event schedule here.
